A family session on Higgins Beach is always a fun experience.
Most folks love the evening sessions with the (hopefully) golden glow of a sunset and the warm summer breeze off the water. Sometimes I have zero availability in the evenings. A morning photo session is totally doable and many like that you can participate in a session and then go on with your day after having already accomplished so much so early in the day!
The G Family contacted me rather late in the season to see if I had any availability – I replied that I only had mornings available – to which they were happy to take me up on the open spot. A morning family session on Higgins Beach is never a bad time. The only worry, like many beaches in Maine, is the tide, regardless of it being morning or evening. We managed a cloudy morning and a few raindrops, but overall a super pleasant summer morning.
Even with a photographer on hand, they couldn’t resist photos of their kids with their siblings (the aunts/uncles) and it was really sweet.
