I grew up on the beaches of Kennebunk and love the variety of the stretches of coastline that the town has. This Kennebunk family photo session was held between Middle and Gooch’s Beaches on the little rocky point. We would move between the sun shining and the water in the background to taking shelter behind the little rocky hill and utilizing the large driftwood to hide from the bone-chilling cold. You wouldn’t know that the L Family was cold though! They were more than happy to ditch their jackets and snuggle up together to grab the images that they had envisioned for their mom for her Christmas gift. <3
And, if you notice, being 9 basically means that you don’t care how cold it is if it means you can showcase your very best dress and look your best. She was so happy to pose for the camera and she probably would have stayed out there ALL DAY if we had let her! 🙂 I loved her enthusiasm!
We didn’t have any snow for this Kennebunk family photo session, and we did have freezing cold temperatures – BUT we also had warm bodies and snuggly sweaters to stay warm!
