Maine Lakeside Wedding

There is something quaint and carefree about a Maine lakeside wedding. Many times you have mountains as your backdrop, sandy beaches, tall pine trees, and calm waters. And, if the day is way too hot where you just can’t even, you can always top it off with a jump in the lake at the end of the party. Bernadette and Justin selected the beautiful Pleasant Point Inn for their vow exchange which offered the prettiest view of mountains. Despite a tragic accident earlier in the morning where Bernadette’s brother was hit by a car while heading out for a run, the family decided to continue with the wedding as planned. It was agreed that they would all return to the Inn the next year to celebrate with every single family member as originally planned.

They had the best wedding guest favors (custom Yankee Candles!) and the cake was delicious. The speeches were funny and heart-felt (with more than a few tears shed). The band kept the whole party on the dance floor for the entire night and I had so much fun capturing it all for them.
