When you think about Maine what comes to mind? For me, even though I live in the sandy beach region of the state, I often think what really screams Maine is the rocky coastlines, the quaint little villages, the bustling harbors filled with lobster boats, lighthouses, pink and white beach roses, and towering pine trees. Stephanie + Scott were expecting their first baby and wanted something to reflect their love of Maine in their portraits. They selected a Pemaquid Point maternity photography session as it has so many of the things that they love about Maine in one place. The rocky coast, the towering pines, beach roses, and a quaint little lighthouse. Pemaquid Point Lighthouse is a breathtaking location and we got super lucky after a crazy weather streak and the uncertainty of rain lingering all around.

There is an upside of rainy weather! A tiny rainbow appeared over the water during their session so OF COURSE we had to try to capture some of it.
