I photograph a ton of folks on the beach. A TON. And I consider myself super lucky to be able to do this very thing. BUT, when I get the chance to photograph an adventurous and super cute couple at the top of one of my favorite mountains, I jump at the chance. Here I was with the opportunity to create some fun portraits on Tumbledown Mountain and rain be damned, we were going to make it happen! For what it’s worth, it never rained but we did get to watch the rain miss us by miles off in the distance.
Tim and Brian were the types of people that you walk into a room and meet (or in this case, climb a mountain with) and become instant friends. I couldn’t have asked for better hiking partners!
Once we got to the top of the mountain, a quick wardrobe change, and we found our perfect spot next to the lake at the top. After some goofing around and playful and sweet portraits later, we decided it was time to head back down. At one point we weighed our need to cool off with the idea of swimming in the lake, but with big fish swimming all over the place, Brian was having none of it.
Seriously though, how fantastic are these two?
