The last time I photographed the B family was in Kennebunkport at Goose Rocks Beach a couple of years ago. This time around, they opted for a Rye family photo session – and all-around it was much different in a way. It was in the earlier stages of the pandemic (yes, I am severely backlogged in blogging) and this was their first gathering since everything locked down and they were EXCITED to see each other! The cousins are all super close and it was so sweet to see them connect and be together. The last time I saw them, the youngest was just a baby.
We met in Rye, NH at the Seacoast Marine Center and Odiorne Pointe which has beautiful lawns, stone walls, a playground, and a rocky shoreline that screams New England. It gave everyone the space to roam and play and different options for backdrops for their photos.
What I love about this family is that they do it all like pros. They bring a cooler FULL of food and drinks and in between sets people can take a break and have a snack while another group has their turn. Kids were set loose and climbed trees, ran around, explored, and played together. The closeness of the B Family is something we should all be so lucky to experience. <3
Location: Odiorne Point

Is it past time that you got your extended family together for portraits? Let’s chat about how we can make that happen!
