I loved everything about this southern Maine family photo session right in Saco and Scarborough. I met the T Family at a location that I had been eyeballing for quite some time. Every time I drove by this place in the early evenings, I was struck by the golden glow of the sun peering through the trees, the decrepit barn in all of its retro-barn glory, and the large field in the back. I was in heaven. Their 6-year-old got a serious case of the giggles right from the start and it was the best because getting reactions from everyone took such little effort on my part because she was absolutely silly. Sometimes I have to work hard for a child’s approval and to be BFFs with them, but not this time! Haha Once we were done at the farm, we hopped in the car and drove a couple of miles up the road to the Scarborough marsh / Eastern Trail where they frequented as a family and grabbed some portraits in the tall grasses light up by the sun’s setting golden glow. It was an entertaining and absolutely beautiful evening with the T Family! 🙂
