I have had the pleasure of photographing the “G” Family a couple of times now and I have to say, I have captured some of my most favorite and sweet moments with this family. I know that they love the moments I have captured of them together, snuggled on the couch and just hanging out together. I showed up one crazy cold weekend (cold in relative terms; it was October and the temperature was dropping faster than you can say “brrrrr!”) and walked into their cute little home that was utterly chaotic (I mean this in the sweetest way) with a new (premie) and their 6-year-old son.This was going to be fun!
Their oldest, Angelo, is the silliest and sweetest little dude that I have ever met. He was so fun to photograph and I listened to him tell me all about his day, show me his skills on the computer and run around like any cooped up 6-year-old would. He talked proudly about all the things he loves, his art work, toys and especially his little brother. Mom got him snuggled up with her on the couch and they both admired his new little brother, River, and those moments together are his parents’ favorites.
Sadly, Dad had to coach a soccer game the first time I photographed his family so he wasn’t able to show off his mug in any images until our next session a few weeks later. This time, we took a little walk in the park up the road from their house. It was a brisk day, but we had a good time and “A” had a fantastic time chasing the oak leaves that were blowing all over the park (i.e. burning off a ton of energy!)
I am really looking forward to photographing these guys again later this year and seeing how big both of the boys are getting!
