In July, 2014, I met the lovely “O Family” from New York. They came and stayed in the cute neighborhood full of friendly neighbors by the quiet Willard Beach in South Portland. I scooted up one evening and met their two fun littles. I was told tall stories by the 4-year-old and watched the baby look at me sternly and smile sweetly at her mother. It was a magical evening, with passing schooners on sunset cruises through Casco Bay, smooth ocean water with tiny waves crashing on the small beach and perfect sunny skies. Their oldest warmed right up to me and told me all about himself since the moment I walked in the door to their summer rental and throughout the entire session. He was an absolute peach and had the cutest smile. He was adventurous and was also very eager to tell me where to find the good spots for them to sit for their pictures. I could have photographed them all day! 
Does this schooner not make the most perfect backdrop for a Maine family portrait????????! c’mon!

Hoping to see the “O Family” again this summer! We all need some summer vacationing after the long, hard winter we had – especially in the area that they are from.
