A Winter Maternity Session
I had the best phone call with Katelyn when discussing her plans for her session and having me come to the hospital to capture the birth of her and her husband’s first child. She had the whole thing planned out, even that the baby HAD to be right on time so that she could have her maternity leave right up to the end of the school year which would then extend her time with her baby through the summer. I love mothers-to-be. I remember having all of those minute details all planned out … and then the inevitable thing happens… the baby does their own thing. Birth plan? What birth plan?
We met for their winter maternity session on a cool February weekend at Wells Reserve at Laudholm Farm and hopped right to it. These two made the weather not look so cold as they snuggled up and enjoyed each other’s company as we walked along the paths not far from the main building. They were amazingly good sports about tromping through deep snow and Jacob was so funny when prompted to whisper “something” in Katelyn’s ear. (Sssssomethinnnnngggg)
